Why Join?
Joining the Willamette Valley Aquarium Society means that you are supporting a club based of education, community, and growth. We invite informed speakers that are experts in their field to every meeting. The fees that our members pay end up paying for the spaces we gather in, door prizes, as well as education and conservation. Members also enjoy the perk of being able to sell their items, special opportunities for selling through swaps, advertisement through the club and discounts at participating local fish stores.
Membership Benefits
Rare Species
Some of our members are collectors, so you might have access to livestock and plants which may not be commonly available at commercial pet stores.
A Hobby that Pays for Itself
Members have the opportunity to sell livestock that they have bred, plant cuttings, and unused equipment at auction to earn extra money to buy more!
Business Perks
Members can even receive advertisement through the club, discounts at participating local fish stores, and access to our archive of breeding records.
Socialization and Fun
Our members love to get more involved in your community and meet new people, supporting a club which values education and community, and learning from experts!
Breeder Award Program
The WVAS breeder award program (BAP) is a points-based program designed to encourage members to breed their aquarium animals. The program is open to any and all club members in good standing.
