WVAS Photo Contest
Calling all club members! Now announcing our first WVAS Photo Contest to post your photos on the website! Because we believe our members have some of the best aquatic livestock in Oregon! Whether you're an amateur, or a professional photographer, if you love aquatic life, this contest is for you!
1. Set up your tank/pond
Participating is easy! The first step is to prep your tank or pond. That may look like cleaning your glass, re-scaping, or setting up a temporary photo tank!
2. Snap a photo
Next, you'll need to set up your camera. iPhone Camera or Samsung will work, but if you have professional equipment, you're welcome to use it!
3. Post on Facebook or submit here
Lastly, post on Facebook your submission with the #WVASPhotoContest or submit your photo below!

Prizes
What kind of contest would this be without prizes? Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, and overall visual appearance.
1st Place Winner
The person that wins first place will earn a $25 gift card to a local fish store, a $10 Club voucher, and a year of free membership!
2nd Place Winner
Second place is awarded a $25 Club voucher that can be used at any meeting toward merchandise or auction items!
3rd Place Winner
Claiming third place secures a professional poster print out of your entry!
Rules
Each participant/member is allowed to submit up to ten (10) entries.*
Photos must be original and taken by the participant/member*
*by entering the contest you grant the Willamette Valley Aquarium Society (WVAS) permission to use your photo for promotional purpose with appropriate credit
